When you change your what into why?

What am I doing, to Why am I doing this?

What am I doing here, to why am I here?

Early on in my walk with Christ, I found myself engulfed in serving, sometimes over serving, pretty much saying yes to everyone and everything. In my mind thinking that if I served enough and fulfilled my "Work" here on earth that would in turn pay for me a spot in God's good grace , not realizing, I was fulfilling my What and not my Why.

As I've matured in my Faith , I've changed my what to why. Understanding that I've been saved , and it is a gift from God and it is nothing I did but submit to him.

Seeing kids get baptized because of serving my Lord, and leading the least of these to Jesus has my pinnacle change from what to why. When it comes to the Lord I will boast in him.

Thanks for listening to my ramble, if you know me you'd understand my passion sometimes 😁

Wow...such wisdom. Today I will begin asking "why" am I....rather than "what." Thanks for that insight! A ⭐ U R !
