WHERE'S THE KINK IN YOUR HOSE?

CONVERSATION STARTERS:
What were your plans for Valentine's Day this year?
How has the connection been with you and your spouse this week?
What are some steps you can take to make that connection better?

REVIEW:
Our guest speaker on Sunday, Pastor Chip Judd, spoke with us about how to capture automatic negative thoughts or "ANTS" in our lives. He taught us that the most powerful force shaping our lives is our words. This is ultimately why we see ourselves the way we do and in return, our view of ourselves can damage the most important relationships in our lives. So, it's important to find the kink in your hose and fix it!

MAKE IT PERSONAL:
Pastor Chip said: You can’t consistently live in a way that is inconsistent with how you see yourself.  Do you agree? How do you see yourself? How does God see you?
Can you think of a time someone’s words shaped your identity or choice? How have you seen your words affect someone you are close to?
What did the Holy Spirit say to you through the message?
What will you do about it?

ACT ON IT:
What is one thing you’ll do this week to capture, question, and replace your ANTS?

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAY:

How can I pray for you this week?
