Q: I have already been baptized. Can I be baptized again?
A: Your baptism should have signified you becoming a follower of Jesus, beginning a new life and uniting you with a new family. If your baptism did not reflect that change of life, then you should be baptized again!
Q: Can my child be baptized?
A: We will baptize anyone who understands what baptism symbolized and wants to make that person declaration. We encourage all parents to partner with our FFC Kids ministry to guide your children through these decisions of faith.
Q: Can my infant be baptized?
A: The Bible teaches us that baptism is a public expression of worship that symbolizes the new life we have when we follow Jesus. In Luke 2:22-40 we see that Jesus' parents dedicated him to the Lord as a child, and in Matthew 3:16-17 he was later baptized as an adult. At Faith Family Church, we provide the opportunity for child dedication which is a ceremony that is intended to be a commitment between parents and God on behalf of the child. Parents promise to raise their child in faith until the child is old enough to make his or her own personal confession of Christ by the public declaration of water baptism.
